A Focused Care Practitioner is based within your GP practice and can support you with lots of health and social issues that you might be experiencing including issues to do with finances and benefits, family issues, mental health, housing and more. First Contact Physiotherapy Service

Lynne is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist who works from the surgery on Wednesdays doing first contact physiotherapy assessments and treatment recommendations. She can refer people for community physiotherapy if ongoing treatments are necessary. Go to our appointments page to refer yourself for physiotherapy.

Neighbourhood Dietician

We have appointed a neighbourhood Dietician to work with local practices with a focus on weight loss to prevent and improve the control of diabetes and other things impacted by being overweight.

Neighbourhood Mental Health Practitioner

We have appointed a neighbourhood mental health nurse to help people access appropriate mental health services. She will offer initial assessments to people that the GPs ask her to see.
